Analysis Of The Effect Of Equipment Performance (Crane) On Ship Loading And Unloading Work Time At Koja Tanjung Priok Container Terminal

Abstract


Loading and unloading equipment (cranes) have an important role in the smooth process of loading and unloading ships at a container terminal, therefore measuring the level of performance of tools (cranes) in loading and unloading at a container terminal is very necessary. the main topic of this study is to analyze the performance of the crane being tested to find out whether there is an effect on loading and unloading work at the Koja Container Terminal, the analysis method uses simple linear regression and correlation coefficient to determine the influence between the level of crane performance on loading and unloading work time which is indicated by a simple linear equation, namely: y = 34.419+(-0.591x) means that the coefficient regression x of -0.591x states that for every 1% addition in value to Variable X (Crane Performance),  the Y variable (loading and unloading work time) will decrease by -0.591, at a constant of 34.419. The result of the correlation coefficient is - 0.857, meaning that the relationship between the variables X and Y is negative and moderate, therefore the influence of the performance level of crane C on loading and unloading work time Y is 73.44% while 26.56% is influenced by several other factors, In testing the hypothesis, Ha are accepted and Ho is rejected, it can be interpreted that there is a significant negative relationship between crane performance and ship loading and unloading work time at the Koja Container Terminal.
