CIRCULAR ECONOMY AND PRODUCT-SERVICE SYSTEMS IN CUSTOMER PERSPECTIVE: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Nursery Alfaridi S. Nasution, Viany Utami Tjhin

Abstract

Circular economy means an economy system of restoration and recycling. On the other hand, product service system is one example of circular business model. The objective of this study is to elaborate more about circular economy and product service system, and to examine how customers accept the product system service in order to enhance circular economy.  Previous literature did not cover much about customer perspective. This study presents systematic literature review approach, and thematically synthesizes the findings of 70 articles. This study reveals that circular economy is defined well, and customers are willing to use the product service systems in order to enhance the circular economy. Finally, we suggest the future research direction.

Keywords

circular economy, product service system, customer perspective, customer acceptance, systematic literature review.
