THE ANALYSIS OF THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SUDIRMAN STREET SECTION IN DUKUH ATAS AREA DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC

Abstract


This study aims to determine the flow of traffic and traffic performance on Dukuh Atas Street at the time of normal circumstances until the enactment of Implementation Of Restrictions on Micro-Based Community Activities (PPKM). This type of research was descriptive Quantitative. The data sources used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting direct observations in the field, while secondary data was obtained based on the study of reports, journals, or data from relevant agencies, including the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) related to population and an area. Calculations for urban road performance indicators include Traffic Flow (Q), Capacity (C), Degree of Saturation (DS), Free Flow Speed (FV), Speed, and average travel time (TT). Meanwhile, the parameters used in this study include: density analysis, saturation degree analysis, and free flow speed road capacity analysis. The decrease in traffic flow occurred during the pre-Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). Moreover, it increased again at the time of the validity of PSBB– 1. Then, at this time, the implementation of PPKM drove the chart even higher in normal times.
