PERFORMANCE ANALYSIS OF MT HARYONO ROAD POST CONSTRUCTION OF CAWANG LRT STATION

Abstract


This research aims to analyze traffic performance on road segments that pass through MT. Haryono Road as an impact of the construction of the Cawang Light Rail Transit (LRT) Station. The performance analysis is conducted using calculations from the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (IRCM) 1997 and a simulation approach with Vissim software. The performance analysis compares conditions before the construction of the LRT station (2019) and after its completion (2023). Based on the performance analysis, it was found that in 2019, the average speed was 14 km/h, with a service level of F, while in 2023, the average speed improved to 17 km/h, with a service level of D. Referring to the Vissim simulations, traffic management improvement scenarios were implemented. Scenario 1 resulted in an increase in speed difference of 5 km/h, while Scenario 2 showed an increase of 12 km/h.
