The Role of Effective Time in Relation to Equipment Utilization on Ship Service Performance

Abstract


This research aims to determine the relationship and influence among factors affecting ship service performance. The research method in this study is quantitative regression analysis using Smart PLS 3.2.9 software. Employing regression analysis with the independent variables being ship service performance represented by Availability level and equipment usage time, the dependent variable being equipment utilization, and the mediating variable being effective time. The results of this research indicate that Availability level has a positive impact on effective time and employee performance, equipment usage time has a positive impact on ship service performance but not on effective time, and effective time has a positive impact on ship service performance.
