The Impact of Layout, Material Handling & WMS on the Effectiveness of Warehouse Management 2023

Abstract

DHL Global Forwarding is a domestic and foreign goods transportation service company that deals with logistics and transportation. The aim of this research is to find out the impact of layout, material handling, and the warehouse management system (WMS) on the effectiveness of warehouse management at the DHL Global Forwarding branch office in Soewarna Tangerang 2023. The methods used in this research are quantitative and data collection techniques by observation and dissemination of questionnaires. The sources of data used by the authors in this study are primary and secondary. The population and samples used in this research are all employees at DHL Global Forwarding’s warehouse to test the hypothesis using multiple linear regression and for data calculations using the SPSS application.
