EVALUATION OF DWELLING TIME SERVICES ON CONTAINER UNLOADING PRODUCTIVITY AT TPK KOJA

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the relationship between dwelling time and container unloading productivity at TPK Koja. The research method used is the interview method with the operational section of TPK Koja and freight forwarders to analyze the effect of dwelling time services on container unloading productivity. The results showed that the current dwelling time has decreased to 3 days compared to the data 7 years ago, efficient dwelling time contributes positively to increased productivity. Factors that contribute to the decrease in dwelling time include infrastructure improvements and cooperation with parties outside the port. The implication of this research is the importance of paying attention to dwelling time services in an effort to improve the efficiency of container unloading at TPK Koja. This research contributes in improving understanding of the importance of dwelling time services in the context of container unloading productivity.
