Analysis of Recruitment Constraints and Crew Replacement Mechanisms for Smooth Crew Management at PT. BJM Global Indonesia 2023

Abstract


PT BJM Global Indonesia is an Indonesian company engaged in crew management, only recruiting Indonesian seafarers appointed by JSM International at the request of ship owners to be placed on foreign vessels. The obstacle that often arises is the high need for seafarers, especially when the need is very urgent, when the need for seafarers exceeds the number of seafarers who apply, there will be a delay in requesting positions on the ship depending on the capacity on board. .  Business. The purpose of this study is to determine the constraints in the recruitment and replacement of crew at PT BJM Global Indonesia 2023. This type of research includes qualitative research with data analysis techniques using interviews and direct field observations. This research uses the fishbone research method. The fishbone diagram includes fish heads and fish fins.
