Analysis of the Impact of Inflation and Unemployment Rate on the Development of the Logistics Sector in Indonesia for the Period 2015-2024

Abstract


Analysis of the effect of inflation and unemployment rate on the development of the logistics industry in Indonesia from 2015 to 2024 is the aim of this research. By using secondary data, such as the GDP of the logistics subsector, the inflation, and the unemployment rate, which were gathered from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia, and Indonesian Supply Chain. Using IBM SPSS software, multiple linear regression analysis was performed. The findings indicate that while the unemployment rate has a large and negative effect on the development of the logistics industry, inflation has a positive and considerable impact. Both factors have a stimulating effect on the development of Indonesia's logistics industry. This study demonstrates that inflation and unemployment rate stability are key factors propelling the expansion of national logistics. This study will help stakeholders in the government and logistics industry create flexible policies.
