LEAN WAREHOUSE APPROACH TO MINIMIZE THE WASTE IN THE RECEIVING PROCESS IN WAREHOUSE FINISHED GOODS OF PT. EMUDAH FULFILLMEN INDONESIA

Abstract


PT Emudah Fulfillmen Indonesia is an e-commerce technology company, managed brands such as household needs, electronics, cosmetics, fashion, car accessories and other categories. The research was carried out in a finished goods warehouse with the aim of minimizing waste that occurs in the process of receiving goods. The results were taken from observation and communication about using the lean warehouse method. The tools used are Big Picture Mapping, Process Activity Mapping, Seven Wastes, Questionnaires and Fishbone Diagrams. It is found that the waste that occurred in the receiving process are extra processing, excessive transportation, waiting and unnecessary movement with reduced processing time by 115 minutes.
