ANALYSIS OF MV NGGAPULU PASSENGER VESSEL AT PT PELNI TO SUPPORT TOURISM IN BANDA NEIRA

Abstract


Banda Neira is a tourist attraction visited by local and foreign tourists. The
passenger vessel used for the Surabaya to Banda Neira route is the MV NGGAPULU vessel from PT PELNI to support tourism in Banda Neira which is related to the role of the Government and the promotion of the tourism industry sector and becomes a source of national income. Access to tourism potential in Banda Neira is improved by focusing on supporting systems and infrastructure that impact unity desire. This research aims to be the subject of studies by the Central and Regional Governments and collaborating with tourism authorities and the attractiveness of tourism businesses in these fields. With Qualitative Descriptive Analysis methods and data collection techniques through interviews, documentation, and field observations, including PT PELNI, the Central Statistics Agency, Third Officer MV NGGAPULU, and the community around Banda Neira. Research conducted shows that MV NGGAPULU has an impact that affects the community. The central and regional governments must carefully plan to regulate vessel routes and be firm in enforcing the rules of tourism industry activities in Banda Neira. Tourist visits can be increased based on service performance and improving transportation systems and infrastructure.
