Abstract

One of Angkasa Pura's current focuses is on the implementation of Eco Green Airport. The purpose of this study is to analyse and evaluate the social and environmental impacts of the implementation of the Eco Green Airport concept at Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews with relevant parties and field observations. The results showed that from the social side, the research found an increase in environmental awareness among workers and the surrounding community. On the environmental side, the application of renewable energy, such as solar power generation, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, and saved coal consumption. Overall, the implementation of the Eco Green Airport concept at Soekarno-Hatta Airport is effective in reducing environmental impacts and improving community welfare, but requires a better long-term strategy to achieve optimal sustainability.
