Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) in the supply chain at PT Pelni Logistics. The research focuses on evaluating how IoT technology improves operational efficiency and optimizes supply chain performance by providing real-time data, automating processes, and improving inventory management. A descriptive quantitative approach was adopted, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 40 employees in supply chain divisions, these findings reveal that the use of IoT significantly impacts supply chain effectiveness by improving monitoring and control systems, reducing errors, and improving response times. The results underscore the importance of integrating advanced technologies such as IoT to achieve a more agile and responsive supply chain, leading to increased competitiveness. Statistical analyses conducted using SPSS show a strong correlation between IoT implementations and supply chain performance, providing valuable insights for companies aiming to digitize their logistics operations.
